Additional Information:
A safety reminder for our families that drop-off and pick-up children at St. James. St. James Lane is an actual thoroughfare. There are many other vehicles that use this thoroughfare on a regular basis including during our drop-off and pick-up times. Please be very careful with your child/ren when making your way to and from your parked cars. DO NOT walk between the parked busses at any time. This practice creates a very dangerous situation for both you, your child/ren, and the motorists that use this roadway. When walking to your parked cars, please wait for the busses to leave the loading zone before heading to your car. This will only add a few minutes of wait time yet ensures everyone's safety.

Also, we have two designated Accessible Parking spaces at the top of the stairs on the east side. A reminder that these spots are reserved for our Special Transportation Bus and anyone who has an Accessible Parking Permit. Please do not walk behind our Special Transportation Bus when the driver is backing up into the designated spots.

We are now beginning to experience the true signs of Spring and soon we will have warmer temperatures. This being said, it is a good time to review our St. James Dress Code. More detailed information about our dress code can found in the front pages of our student agendas.
Students are reminded that:

  • If wearing leggings, the shirt must come to mid-thigh (front and back).
  • Sleeveless tops must cover the shoulder area (3 finger rule) and undergarments cannot be exposed.
  • Mid-thigh shorts, dresses and skirts should be just above the knee and of a fit that permits freedom of movement, appropriate for the setting.
  • Ripped clothing is not permitted.
  • Hats, sunglasses, hoods and bandanas are not to be worn inside the building.

Special Prayers/Intentions:

God of creation,

We thank You for the wonder of creation.

We know that You made everything we see around us: the day, the night, the sky, the sun, the stars, the ocean, the plants, the fish, the birds, the animals, and all the people in the world.

May we always worship You with awe and reverence.

Amen Have a spectacular week!
