    Additional Information/Upcoming Events:

Tuesday, February 13, 2018 is Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Tuesday. A group of parent volunteers will be in our school making and serving pancakes for all our students on this day. Students will be coming down to our school gym to enjoy the sweet treats. Students still need to bring in their regular snacks and lunches as this will only be a treat and will not replace lunches or snacks.

Once again, as Ash Wednesday occurs on Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 we are not able to celebrate Valentine’s Day on this day. Ash Wednesday is a Holy Day in the Catholic Church and is a day of abstinence and fasting. Our Valentine’s Day activities will take place on the 15th. We will be observing Ash Wednesday on the 14th, rather than Valentine’s Day.

On Thursday, February 15, we will be having a school dance hosted by Fresh Radio 93.1 as a result of participating in our food drive campaign "We Scare Hunger". This is the same day that some of our classes will be having Valentine's Celebrations.

    Pediculosis (Head Lice)
Copies of the School Board’s policy on Head Lice can be found on the Board’s website. Parents will be notified if a child is found to have head lice. Parents/guardians will be asked to take their child home to commence treatment right away. Students will only be readmitted to class after they are free of any head lice (nits included). If you suspect your child has head lice please contact the school. We will send home a letter with their classmates giving other parents information on how to treat for lice and what to look for to prevent the spread within the classroom. Student names will not be indicated in this letter.

    Wishing everyone a marvelous week!
